Outpatient Therapy is an opportunity to have a space dedicated to processing mental health symptoms and the difficulties that result from them.
The American Psychological Association (2023) defines therapy as “any psychological service provided by a trained professional (or supervised trainee) that primarily uses forms of communication and interaction to assess, diagnose, and treat dysfunctional emotional reactions, ways of thinking, and behavior patterns."
